OKU has entered into an academic and personnel exchange agreement with China’s National Institute of Education Sciences (NIES).
NIES Research Center for Basic Education Director Chen Rupingwas invited to the signing ceremony at the OKU Mental Support Center for School Crisis on November 19 that marked the signing of the memorandum between the two centers.
China’s main educational science research organization, NIES has contributed to the promotion of school safety in the Asia-Pacific region through joint research conducted by its Center for Basic Education and OKU’s Mental Support Center for School Crisis.
It is hoped that the agreement will enhance OKU’s international contribution to progressive initiatives to promote school safety and promote academic interaction between Chinese and Japanese researchers and teaching practitioners to further develop research in the area of school safety.
